How do I import sales from my POS?
Go to Sales in the console and use the Import function. You can upload a CSV file or connect via API on Pro plans.
Can I use BasilBook for multiple restaurants?
Yes. Each restaurant is a separate organization. On Pro, you pay $39.99/mo or $399/yr per location and get cross-location reporting.
How does recipe cost calculation work?
Define standard recipes for your menu items with ingredient quantities. When you import sales, BasilBook calculates theoretical ingredient consumption and compares it against actual stock.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation. You can export everything as CSV before deletion.
Do you support currencies other than USD?
Yes. You set your currency during onboarding. BasilBook supports any currency — all amounts are displayed in your chosen format.
What platforms is BasilBook available on?
BasilBook is available on Web, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The native iOS and iPad app supports all the same features as the web console, with offline support and native Apple Sign-In.
